A crypto exchange offer run into the UAE market via Google UAC and native placements over three weeks — 260 fully KYC-verified accounts at $61 CPA, $15,860 total spend.
The task
By the start, the advertiser had confirmed demand but no controllable volume. We needed to bring the UAE crypto exchange not just sign-ups, but fully KYC-verified users, while matching the tone of an affluent local audience.
We worked the "Crypto" vertical in the UAE market. Payment model — CPA per verified account, main sources — Google UAC, native placements.
How we did it
We built the buy around four decisions.
- Shifted the creative angle away from the "get rich fast" framing common in crypto advertising, toward security, regulatory legitimacy and capital preservation — matching a UAE audience noticeably wealthier than in most other markets with similar offers.
- Simplified the verification flow mid-campaign, cutting required documents from four to two wherever regulation allowed.
- Ran Arabic and English creatives in parallel rather than picking one language, to match a genuinely bilingual, multicultural audience.
What went wrong
Not everything went according to plan. The main funnel loss turned out not to be the initial sign-up but the KYC verification step — almost half of initial registrations never completed verification.
Simplified the verification flow, cutting the number of required documents from four to two wherever regulation allowed — this raised the share of completed verified accounts by almost 30%.
The result
Once stabilized, the campaign held the following numbers. Over the three weeks: verified accounts — 260, cpa — $61, spend — $15,860.
Over three weeks: 260 fully KYC-verified accounts at $61 CPA and $15,860 total spend — the parallel Arabic and English creatives showed a clear split in which segment responded to which language.
What we took away
- In crypto offers with KYC, the main funnel loss is verification, not registration, and that is what deserves optimization first.
- In bilingual, multicultural markets, one creative language does not cover the full addressable market — parallel versions are needed.
These numbers belong to one specific setup, geo, and buying period. Economics will differ on another offer or in another season — we always recalculate them before launch.
