A CPA-model nutra push into Germany running ads inside Telegram bots rather than channels — 89 leads at $1.20 CPA and a 5.8% CTR over 14 days, on a modest $107 budget.

The task

By the start, the advertiser had confirmed demand but no controllable volume. Needed to test a nutra offer on a CPA model in Germany through ads inside Telegram bots — a format still far from saturated — rather than the more familiar Telegram channels.

We worked the "Nutra" vertical in the Germany market. Payment model — CPA per lead, main sources — Telegram bots.

How we did it

The plan was built so each step could be rolled back on its own.

  • Used placements native to bots (a message with text and a button) that read as organic content rather than flagged advertising, and cost less than push formats — CPC from $0.03.
  • Set a $0.04 CPC bid that dropped to an effective $0.015 through optimization, on a $50/day budget.
  • Tested eight creative variants; the strongest combined urgency ("today only"), a "before/after" visual, and a direct CTA button instead of relying on text alone.
  • Rotated 5-10 creatives to keep CTR up and filtered targeting by language to screen out irrelevant GEOs early.

What went wrong

The first real setback hit during scaling. At the time of launch, ads inside Telegram bots were still a new, low-competition format, which meant checking whether it would pay off on a modest budget without any accumulated experience with the channel to lean on.

Low competition in the format, combined with the native feel of in-bot ads, gave the nutra offer a strong entry point on a modest $107 budget.

The result

By the end of the period, the setup hit its planned numbers. Over the fourteen days: leads — 89, cost per lead — $1.20, ctr — 5.8%.

Over 14 days the campaign delivered 89 leads at $1.20 CPA and a 5.8% CTR on a $107 budget.

What we took away

  • Ads inside Telegram bots can cost less than push formats while still reading as organic content.
  • An early, unsaturated stage of an ad format is a real competitive advantage while competition is still low.
  • A direct CTA button paired with a clear "before/after" and urgency beats relying on text alone.
These numbers belong to one specific setup, geo, and buying period. Economics will differ on another offer or in another season — we always recalculate them before launch.
